Sounds like a lot of people have had those problems before, but maybe they're doing a better job at checking these things before they ship. Anyway, I can't deny the fact that putting the bike together is frustrating and timely. I'd never done that before, but I am glad to know now how all the little gadgets work. It took me about 2.5 hours to put together (while taking a frustration break several times) but it starts to make sense after a while. Just read the manual carefully and REPEATEDLY. The ride is very smooth on this bike and the handlebars are super - you don't have to keep them at 45 degrees, put them where it feels best for you. Overall, I'd recommend this bike for someone who likes the challenge of putting things together, who has the proper tools to put this bike together (or can borrow tools from someone)Power Stores Max and who is looking for a comfortable cruiser that has a nice look to it as well.
